I am Thankful ...

It's crazy to think that 2017 is close to coming to an end.

365 days filled with love, laughter, tears, experiences, hard work, life lessons and all of the other things that we're presented with on a daily basis.

This year has been an interesting one for me.

I took time to work on things that really matter. I took time to focus in on my blessings rather then my misfortune. And most importantly I took time to get to know myself and truly understand the things in life that I really want for myself and my family.

Through it all, I truly ended my days feeling blessed. I know how that may sound. "What she never had a bad day this year?" Totally not true. I had plenty of bad days. But for some reason at the end of my day those things that occurred during the day, just didn't matter to me anymore. They had no importance, no value.

Tucking in my son every night, staring at him for the blessing (and miracle) he is. Sitting on the sofa talking to my husband, laughing... bonding. Laying in bed at night, reading books that I never allowed myself time for. The home we live in, the food we eat daily, the clothes on our back, our good health... I could go on and on. These are my blessings. These are the things I am truly grateful and thankful for.

So this Thanksgiving, I just want to remind you to take that time to reflect upon your present blessings; even when things don't seem to be going your way, there are still so many things you can look upon and feel thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
