10 Awesome DIY's Using Plywood

Today I'm sharing some of my favorite projects using Plywood. It's a very inexpensive material to purchase at your local hardware store yet a material that you can do SO much with.

From shelves, to wall art, organizers and lately I've even seen people using is for wood flooring. The possibilities seem to be endless!

Starting with this adorable shelf by Carnets Parisiens. Some cord, wood beads and plywood created this awesome double shelf that can be hung on a wall with hooks. Genius.

Next up, is this beautiful wall organizer by The Lovely Drawer. Plywood meets leather! I absolutely love this sleek look.

Who would of ever thought to add a mirror and a couple of plywood shelves to create this modern floor mirror? Well, The Merrythought thought about it and I freakin' love it!

This next DIY featured on Homepolish is great for those of you that may not have an actual bed frame or have a platform bed as I do. Lot's of us aren't looking for the traditional bed frame or we prefer to go with something that is more minimal. Get this look by simply laying a long piece of plywood, wider then your bed frame and screwing in two more pieces of plywood on each end to create a side table. Love it!

Good old peg board! You've just gotta love it. This modern DIY on Vintage Revivals / Aspyn's Overhaul takes the every day peg board you see in garages to a whole other level. And the best part of this DIY is that the pegs can be moved around to create a different look every time. Score!

Next up is this killer mid-century modern side table by Burkatron . I mean we're talking plywood, wood glue and hairpin legs. BOOM, DONE!

Who doesn't need a desk organizer these days. Ummm helloooo we all do! Poppytalk rocked this DIY. Functionality at it's best.

This Homebook DIY side table is similar to the DIY listed above but I absolutely love the large square space on this side table that allows you to add books, decor, photos, etc. And did I mention how awesome those legs are?! Love them!

I love being able to create spaces in my home that scream attention yet they are so minimal in their design approach. Leah featured on Homepolish did just that with something as simple as plywood to create a functional area in her home that takes up no space at all.

And last but certainly not least is this kick ass Ikea hack. If you've ever purchased an Ikea bed before you know that most of them come with this slatted wood bed base. Well, it's as simple as attaching hooks to your wall and hanging this baby up. While you're at Ikea, they have tons of great pieces such as these tin holders that can be used to hold tons of different things, add some S-hooks to hold linens or even containers like these that can be used as planters (just add rocks to the bottom of the container so that your soil can drain after watering). Genius.

I know... you can say it.

HOLY COW, I had no idea I could do all of that with something as simple as Plywood!!!

I told you... the possibilities are endless, so go get crafting!

xx.
